Brown Bird is a five piece Country, Blues and Eastern European folk influenced Americana group. The group has developed into a miniature orchestra of harmonized voices and instruments carrying founder David Lamb’
s haunting lyrics on surging waves of Appalachian, gypsy, and shanty music. The group hails from Rhode Island and Maine and pulls from the talents of each member to create a diverse folk music that swells into high-spirited, foot-stomping madness.
Be among the first to hear tunes from its upcoming album – “The Devil Dancing.”
South China was born in 2002 as a marriage, musically and literally, of Jeremy and Jerusha Robinson. Their individual backgrounds in experimental rock and classical music produce a sound that feels sparse and improvised, evoking a slightly dark and dream-like state, like trying to recall something that is just beyond the edges of memory. They draw listeners into their intimate world of Maine winters, bittersweet moments, subtle humor, and the bizarre dream imagery.
